Last Tag

No, we didn't fall off the earth, but it does seem like in the last four days we have traveled all over it! After packing up the truck and getting a "last tag" from my parents we headed to Wisconsin Dells Tuesday afternoon.
Dinner Tuesday night was a nightmare! We went to a Japanese steakhouse that charged for EVERYTHING including the shrimp sauce which they called "yummy yummy" sauce.Never go there. I can't remember the name, check the Benson blog I'm sure Kendra will post it.
One of the reasons for going to the dells was to go to the worlds largest water park called Noah's Ark. I found an average hotel online that was giving two free tickets per room per night for the park. For us that meant the park was free for everyone! Since my camera is like my left arm I decided not to bring it to the park but instead bought three disposable waterproof camera's for the kids to use. Look for those pictures tomorrow since they are not digital..(gasp) I know not digital...somewhat of a small sin akin to a white lie...it's only because I really need my left arm considering I'm left handed...Sorry for the delay.
Anyway, Wednesday was spent at the park and Thursday morning we packed up the truck...again..left Wisconsin at 10am and arrived in Jacksonville at 8am this morning. Yep, we drove straight through. Surprisingly after unpacking, laundry and a nap I don't feel too bad.
We are thankful to be home safely and for such an amazing month in Minnesota. Most of all, we are thankful to be with Thomas.

This is my Mom,Dad and all the grandkids....
Emily came up with an inventive way to sleep and avoid hearing Leah singing "The Little Mermaid" at the top of her little lungs! The rest of us really enjoyed Leah's concert.
This is the hotel with the free tickets, the strip is kind of like a little Vegas without the gambling tables.
These are a few pictures of my Mom's Hydrangeas I snapped before we left...I couldn't resist.

This one is my favorite. It's taken from the inside of the bush. You can imagine what I looked like getting that shot.
