Surprisingly when Thomas asked the kids what they wanted to do now that they were home they all said, "go to the beach". I thought I'd be the only one with that idea. It was an absolutely perfect beach day...until it started to thunder and lightning. As you can tell Emily is thrilled have her picture taken!
This is a new species of sea creator known as the Nilesaltor, watch out, they bite.
Niles had figured out that if he wears goggles the water stays out of his eyes. Now the only problem is getting him out of the water.
Lovin' the hot pink....
All my crazy boys fought the two foot waves and eventually convinced Emily and I to join them. This picture is kind of like a "Where's Waldo" picture but it's "Where's Niles". Instead of looking for the red hat, look for the hot pink goggles...
We ended the day with a healthy dinner at Krystal's....there are no Krystal's in Minnesota...nothing like a little greasy burger after a day in the waves.
