Russell gave Niles a whoopie cushion, he blow it up, put it under his butt, blew out a big fake fart and popped it at the same time! Guess it was just a one time gastrointestinal problem.
I was excited about the photo's I had taken in MN this summer and framed for my parents as Christmas gifts and about the necktie I ordered for my Dad with them kids pictures all over it..

I was totally excited about my gift for Kendra which was a baking dish with a heating and cooling carrying case until I found out early Christmas Eve Day that she already had THREE NEW ONES....bummer.
After Eve events at the Benson home we packed up and headed to the Lee house for round two where the kids exchanged gifts with each other and Thomas and I gave them their gifts as well. Niles was thrilled with his train set the blows real smoke, lights up and whistles. Emily got her boots and converse sneakers she wanted and Malcolm got his long awaited night vision goggles!

Thomas surprised me with a gift that I have wanted for a loooonnng time. A KitchenAid mixer!!! You would have thought he bought me a new car I was so excited. When you look at this picture I know you too can hear the angels singing reverently in the backround just as I do!
Santa did a wonder job of picking things out for each of the kids and displaying them..she is soo cool..I mean he is..yeah he.. anyway I didn't get a good picture of the set up cuz doggonit it was after midnight and I was just not all there and just as I was ready to put on my kerchief for a long winters nap, I turned for find my husband holding a gift for me from Santa, this is what I saw...
After seeing that, taking pictures was the last thing on my mind.
Thomas and I debated a particular gift from Santa for Malcolm for a few months. Thomas wanted to get Malcolm a BB gun!!! What? I have to agree with Ralphy's mother on this one, "No way, he'll shoot his eye out!" With much reluctance I finally gave in to my handsome husband's evil ways...It's those eyes, I swear it is, they work every time. something about them makes me turn into a puddle of goo that agrees to all his crazy ideas like this.
Not only did he get the BB Gun but it is the official RED RIDER BB gun. I allow him to bring it with us on Christmas day only to find the Rob had a hand gun/BB gun. Great. Now both my boys are armed and ready to shoot each others eyes out. Maybe I should have put matching eye patches in their stockings this year. They are shooting at a target my Dad made for them out of a Fed Ex box.
And here is the best picture this year..as I said Malcolm received night vision goggles and as we were leaving Christmas night Grampa wanted to see if they really worked. It was pitch dark so I pointed the camera in the general direction of my Dad and turned on the flash...Merry Christmas to all especially my alien looking parent!
