Shooting the moon

I am so excited! For those of you who know me, you know I am a photography junkie. For months..literally..I have been trying to take a good picture of the moon. I have been preparing by lots of study in the world of photography, the best help coming from the Pioneer Woman. Then I saw on the news that tonight the full moon would be the closer to the earth than any other day of the year. Here was my chance to put into play all that I have been learning. This picture is even without the coveted telephoto lens. (After everyone else gets new shoes Mama gets a new lens...after all we live in Florida I can make due with flip flops and be happy with a new lens, right?) Here is the result of all my study I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!!
