Farmer's Market Fun

Today Kendra, Leah, Russell and I went to the farmer's market. We had a Blast! I could not believe how HUGE it was and all the produce looked so good!
There was even a stand with flowers and all kinds of nuts but when we went to look at them we found the real treasure at this particular stand was CHERRIES...oh yeah baby!

Like I said all the produce was amazing, this is just some of it...

Russell was a happy little man eating cherry tomatoes and trying to put his hands on all the fruit from his stroller. Notice our very cool shopping bags.....Kendra got them from IKEA.
Kendra decided to get some pumpkins to make some more pumpkin bread, she brought me a slice of the bread she had just made from farmer's market pumpkins....soooo good stuff!! Leah helped get the little pumpkin from the shelf to the bag..
What a big girl!

"Leah, say 'cheese' "..... "CHEEEEEESSSSEEE"

We had so much stuff that we made a trip back to the truck to drop off a load and start again. Leah, being the good big sister that she is grabbed fresh grapes out of the bag...
And handed them to Russy....

Russy decided he was still hungry when we got in the truck so Kendra handed him a banana....you would think with two mothers in the car one of us would realize this was a bad idea...

Yeah...Kendra and I chatted away until we saw this....

How was that banana Russy? Did you get any in you mouth?
Anyway...here was the final tally, I spent about 28 dollars and got all of this.....
4 bags of cherries, an eggplant, 3 pears, 6 kiwi, 1 JYNORMOUS sweet potato, 30 hot peppers, a couple pounds of grapes, a bag of collard greens and a couple of pounds of green beans! Now that was some good shopping!
