Jungle Hoops

Every Saturday since Christmas at the Lee house has been all about basketball. This past Saturday was their last game. These shots of Malcolm aren't that great cuz I couldn't get close enough..there's a lot of paparazzi at these things...

aaahhhh...Just look at my little Shaq..stealing the ball from the lion king...it's a jungle out there...

He goes up for the rebound and gets sent to the line..

For two shots. Look at that follow through and the spin on the ball at the top of the picture. That's my boy!

For Niles Game I was able to get a bit closer...I fought my way through those crazy paparazzi and have the pictures to prove it.

Here he is waiting for the shot...don't let the fact his arms are under the guys next to him fool you...

Here's what it looked like when the shot went up...

And when it came down...notice Niles is the only yellow shirt in the bunch. Takes many a man to hold my boys back.

He grabs the rebound and runs for the shot..dribbling...kind of....He shots, he scores! Go Niles, go Niles...I'm your Mama..Go Niles!

He goes up for another rebound and gets fouled..there's a surprise..look at this mob.

He shots for two, what amazing form, he's at least two inches off the ground...it's the shoes. They make him jump higher. Really. He told me.

He makes one, missing one. My little trouper never gives up and goes for yet another rebound..maybe I should make him wear protective eye gear.Nerdy lookin' or not, it's all in good fun 'til someone loses an eye, right?

He misses....

Then he gets the kid back who fouled him by shooting him a bow...Hey, it was rough..I told you it was a jungle out there...
