What do the boys and I do while Emily is at volleyball and Thomas is working you ask? We make things! I really am a country girl living in a big city and since we will be leaving the city no time soon I have to bring the country to us. I buy the boxes of pudding and after mixing it we put it into little plastic containers instead of buying the individual servings simply because it is cost efficient. After the pudding was made, sampled and put away, I taught the boys how to make butter! (Thanks Kendra!) Niles decided this is his "butter makin' hat"...yep, it's hot pink....
Heavy whipping cream eventually separates into butter and butter milk-my husband drinks the butter milk with whole lotta sugar!
Malcolm's job was to mix the curds into smooth butter and put it into the glass container.
"Ahhhh look at my butt..er!"
After adding a pinch of salt here is the final result! Cookies are next on the list.
