Meet my Uncle Kent. One of my favorite people. Definitely my favorite tractor driver. I think he and Betsy might be best friends. She is beautiful in a Farmall sort of way.
What is it with Minnesota men and the suspenders? I asked my Dad when we arrived if Uncle Kent had borrowed his suspenders because he has the same pair! Aaahh..Uncle Kent and Betsy match..how cute..

Betsy pulls this behind her. It's an accessory called a baler. Like a good purse, useful and fashionable.

Fields of hay are cut and blown into rows. Then Besty and her fancy purse pick it up, squish the hay into a bale and tie it off. Now that is a high functioning accessory.

As the bales come out of the baler someone has to be on the wagon to stack the bales.

That's where the Sprouts get involved. Malcolm used that big horror movie hook like thing to hook the bales and pulled them unto the wagon.

Niles then took them to the back of the wagon and started to stack them.

Row after row they stacked until it looked like this.

One fell off the wagon. Poor Little Jimmy had to wait for Betsy to come back and get him.

Gives new meaning to king of the hill doesn't it. More like king of the bale? King of the hay? If I only had a crown.
Then a huge bird swooped down out of the crystal blue sky and grabbed Little Jimmy with it's big talons taking him back to it's nest....or he was just trying to climb up to his king of the bale spot. Whatever.
Where was I you ask? Doing what I always do....taking the pictures...daaa.
