On the other side.

Today I went with Kendra,Rob, Leah and Russell on a quick picture safari. I didn't get to the park until about 1:40 and I had to leave by 2:10 so when I say quick, I really mean it. Wait..these little gems are from a few days ago, I just thought I'd add them...

Okay back to today...We made our way over to the Fort...which I know nothing about I realized. I was so busy snapping that I didn't bother to read the signs. Any of the signs. That were posted everywhere.

It was basically a big field surrounded by protective walls set on the river front..with a few miscellaneous cannons throughout. Oh yeah, and a mote that was almost dry.
These giant beams lined the river side of the Fort.
Have you ever looked at fence and wondered what was on the other side? ME TOO! So I peeked through the crack and here's what I saw...maybe life IS greener on the other side of the hill..or other side of the fence. Whatever.

Spanish Moss was everywhere! More than I have ever seen and really high up in the trees. I thought about taking some home but then remembered that mites make their homes in this stuff. Yeah...no moss for me. Seriously, what would I do with it anyway?

It was beautiful. Sunny with a nice breeze. I am sure I could think of something to do with this stuff, right? Still..the whole mite thing....

This is another "what in the world is that?" pictures...looks like a web full of dead bugs..and maybe it is, I just don't know..anyone know? anyone?

I must have a issue about peeking through and knowing what's on the other side of things. On the way out I had to peek through a tree trunk for this shot. Does that mean I am even more dysfunctional than I previously thought? Is that possible?

As always, I saved the best for last. Amen.
